About The Krew

Hi...

With kind permission of Tim Moore and Keith Airey from the Krew they have allowed me to put this up.

The Krew were the backing band for Nik Kershaw back in the eighties. Gary Wallis joined them on The Riddle tour. In 1986 they released their own single with Steve Lee and Gary Miller.

Lisa	Jun 30 2007 10:14 PM How bizarre - I never would have imagined finding a myspace page dedicated to the Krew. Wow, I thought I was the only person on the planet who even remembered who they were - what a blast from the past. Innocent exciting times - Nik and the Krew were the first concert I ever went to, in Brisbane Australia in May 1985 and my friends and I met the band (whilst we were meant to be at school...). They were wonderful guys, particularly Mark Price and Keith. Mark organised free tickets for us and he and I actually remained "pen pal" friends via six monthly letters for the next 4-5 years, by which time he had moved on to the band All About Eve. Their great vibe and kindness actually changed my life... (but that's a whole other story!). Many cheers, Lisa.

I remember sitting by the tv all Saturday Morning watching Saturday Superstore to see the live performance of Paper Heroes unfortunately didn't have a video recorder way back then :-(. I spent weeks popping into to Andy's Records to see if they had your record in - which you guys kindly signed for me when I sent it into Nik's Krew club ... Thanks X X How about a reunion?

I've seen Keith with Then Jerico and on TV with Tom Jones, and even playing guitar in Grease when my brothers ex was playing Patty in the West End - that was a nice surprise! But how about the rest of you? Saw you live many times with Nik, and you were all as much of a joy to watch as the man himself. L x
