slower things are better things. tim schmidts music do not care about fast life. the songs have time to grow, to blossom. in 2004 tim schmidt started playing concerts all over europe with his voice and his guitar. now he releases his debut "slower things" via analogsoul. from sweden to english radiostations, to bluesclubs in paris, german folkstages and back to sweden to become myspaces unsigned artist of the year. some will say that the music refers to drake, hurley and dylan. sure, schmidts timeless and fragile songs stand in a tradition of blues and folk music, of americana, but emotional and with an musical depth that lets them work without references. slower things between rawness and warmth. slower things are better things.
