Sounds Like
"Restless Soul" is my 4th album and I'm very proud of it. It took me about nine months to write and record.
Usually I head for my studio (located in Malmö, Sweden) around 12 noon and work until I drop... Every now and then my friends stop by for some jammin and chillin and that's how my music take form.
I really like to thank all my friends participating in making this album what it is.
Måns Mernsten (who has been my rhodes, clavinet and Moog blesser since day one) , Rasmus Svensson, Slakah the Beatchild, Peter Zimny, Erik Axelsson, Tomas Ebrelius, Lise Karlsnes, Emmi Sandberg, Anders Tingsek and Sebastian Lilja... Thank you all, I love you!!
I met my newfound friend Slakah the Beatchild through myspace. He e-mailed me about a year ago, proclaiming his love for my music and for music and life in general. It was impossible not to like this guy instantly with his passionate love for "real music" so I invited him to Sweden.
When I picked him up at the airport it took about three seconds before we were brothers.
The work flow in the studio was amazing and everything clicked. We wrote "Something Special" and "Coming Back To You" instantly. We also came up with several ideas for other new songs that didn't end up on this album. One thing's for sure: we'll definately work together again and probably with many different projects.
This album has been recorded with alot of passion and I do this for one reason only: because I truly love it and can't live without it, . I've never focused on making hit singles or copying someone else's sound because it's hipp etc.. I focus on making music from my heart and soul. I record what comes out in that particular moment and that's how I'll always do it.
So I thank all of you people who support me by coming to my shows and buying my records. Because of you I keep sane and I go to sleep every night with a big smile on my face... I hope to see you all on tour!!
