Hot Damn.......
TomC3, producer based out of the Bay Area. Eclectic style and dusty sample purveyor, TomC3 is the Lo-Fi samurai. With full album collaborations with the original Dopestyle in 2004(Dopestyle 1231) Kool Keith in 2006(Project Polaroid ) and Prince Po of Organized Konfusion 2007(Saga of the Simian Samurai ) the resume continues to grow. In 2008 he produced the song "The God of Rap" featured on the new Kool Keith album Dr.Dooom2, the sequel to the classic "First come, First served". Along with producing "The God of Rap", he also remixed the lead single RIP Dr.Octagon.
Be on the lookout for the TomC3 solo effort, aptly entitled "the Lo-Fi Samurai". It will feature fellow Threshold recording artists and some surprise guests as well. Along with vocal contributions there will be an assortment of instrumental tracks as well ( maybe not).
Stay tuned to the page as it will update with new information , new music etc..Lookout for the free mix CD download as well which will include exclusive remixes and new tunes etc (maybe not)..
Saga of the Simian Samurai "the Re-Introduction: Enter the Remixes" will be out this year as well(maybe not....haha). Stay posted for more information......

Still sounds good though. I'm trying to plan a trip to Japan myself, hopefully within the next year. I recently found a bunch of early 80's Korean records at a local thrift shop - some interesting sounds...
