Tonks & the Aurors is a wizard rock band from Michigan. We like: books, coloring, Get Smart (the tv show), podcasts, comedy, and being awesome.
Gigs are great! You should check out when our next show is...or you can book us! contact steph.anderson86 [at] gmail.com if you're interested. We're pretty easy to convince to come play near you!
If you like the songs you're hearing, check out our albums that are for sale on the left.
Thanks for accepting my friend request! Stephanie and the Quaffles is a brand new wrock band, so there's not too much up on my page yet, but feel free to check it out! Hopefully I'll be putting up more songs soon : )
Oh my gosh. You make me want to make things happen. You were too great at Wrockstock. Not only the main stage, but the willow (I can't stop listening to starfish&stick's myspace now)!
"Lewy is currently involved in playing drums for The Exitwound Project and is available for recording with many others."
Also, please be sure to check out "Lewy's" new project to help drummers and their favorite charities called "Drum Solo Cards" at www.drmsolocards.com Tell your friends and send all the drummers that you know to look them up.
So I was reading about you right now iin a magazine, and I was like wow! I did not know there was Harry Potter themed music out there, so right away I downloaded "Aurors for the Win". I love it! I am sooo jamming out to it. I can't wait to show it to my friends=)
Just wanted to let you know that after The Canadian Yule Ball and London Potterfest 2009 you have officially become one of my favourite wrock bands. Kudos! You do the kind of music I'd love to do.
I hope you are still enjoying my debut full-length double-disc EP, Death to Humans. If you have any friends who need a copy, I still have like 198 of them in my closet. Tell them to order it from my Myspace. Each copy comes with free toast.
I know a lot of wizards are really into this idea of making these charity records. I have even been asked to contribute to a few of them myself. That's all well and good, but I don't get what the big deal is about reading. Why do all these kids need to read so much? Don't they have YouTube?
Anyway, I've decided to go ahead and make my own charity compilation that will benefit squids. Yes, that's right, SQUIDS! Humans have brought too much death and destruction to this world for me to continue propping them up with such philanthropic endeavours.
I am now soliciting contributions to this compilation album. The compilation is entitled:
A Tribute to the Giant Squidstravaganza
If you or anyone you know wants to contribute a song, please email me (giantsquidrocks@yahoo.com). The song does not need to be by or about wizards. Instead, it should be either by or about me. In other words, it would be OK for you to cover one of my songs, and it would also be OK for you to write your own song about how awesome I am. It would NOT be OK for you to cover someone else's song, unless that song was about me. It is also NOT OK to write songs about stuff I don't care about, i.e, girls you want to make out with, stupid Hogwarts teen drama, and/or Twilight (whatever that is).
Proceeds from the sales of A Tribute to the Giant Squidstravaganza will benefit the Architeuthis Youth Center of Rapid City. This is a really great cause and I'm hoping we can raise a bunch of money to help Rapid City continue to provide a safe place for at-risk young squids to make a positive impact in their community.
You are pure awesome, not only as a wizardrocker, but because you introduced me to HP The Musical, or A Very Potter Musical. Thank you so much for doing that. I would have totally been missing out if I hadn't seen you commenting about it.
Your music is love, and I'd personally love to have your cds when I could buy them.
