Tormentium was summoned from the eternal grey of the Cascadian Willamette Valley in fall of 2004. As a five piece metal band with elements of black, death and thrash, Tormentium has always tried to break the bonds of genre specifications and cultivate an honest sound that is grandiose, and melodically brutal. For years Tormentium has bloodied the stage, sharing performances with a variety of influential bands such as Horna, Impaled, Phobia, Inquisition, Noctuary, Rotten Sound, High On Fire and more. Covering a wide range of emotions and subject matter, Tormentium writes about unknown horrors, demonology, prideful impiety, and story-like tales of destruction. In Fall of 2009, guitarist and co-riff master Ray Eversole left the band. The now-four-piece took a 2 year hiatus from the stage to focus on bringing a new era of Tormentium to (un)life with new darkened and grandiose music. The first spawn of this new era is Cursed Beyond Flesh. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In May of 2011, the band released two albums: The split with brothers INFERNUS, which included the last material as a 5 piece, and the new EP "Cursed Beyond Flesh" which includes the first new material as a 4 piece.
