The russian band Wozzeck is a duo consisting of Ilia Belorukov (on sax, electronics) and Mikhail Ershov (bass-guitar). They play experimental music with influences from noise, electroacoustic and improvised music. They released one album named Act I (in trio with drummer Pavel Mikheev), an EP with the famous russian musician Alexei Borisov and tracks on different compilations. Act II is the first album recorded as a duo. More than 1,5 years were spent perfecting the final result. This is the concert record on 2009, July 7th at legendary Saint-Petersburg place – Experimental Sound Gallery-21.
September 1:st our 1:st single, Dare To Lick (Hunter's Red Sleeve), from our upcoming album SILENT REVOLUTION,was released and is available on iTunes but also on our MySpace of course!
The album will be released October 1:st and later that month we go on tour in Germany with The Movements.

Hey guys! After a year and a half we are back charging full steam ahead with the release of our latest album "Songs For The Road Towards The End Of The World" this past May 31, 2009. Unlike our two previous releases this was a long duration album (LP) featuring 12 all created by Pete Drown. Mike Mellow participated in the album by co-producing it and creating the art. The first single is called "Ciento Once Grados" (111 Degrees) and we have a brief video/slideshow teaser for it on our page.

Cari amici, abbiamo costruito una stanza dove autori ed interpreti, cantautori ed arrangiatori di chiara fama, fonici e direttore artistico (insomma Artisti), buttano via la maschera e si mettono in discussione per costruire tutti insieme una Manifestazione. Fin qui tutto bene, se non fosse che questa stanza è dentro il Palafiori di Sanremo, che il tutto è stato messo a disposizione dal Comune per vedere che riusciamo a combinare e che i soliti noti sono li pronti con il fucile puntato per dire il solito " lo avevamo detto, noi...." Per cui chiamiamo a raccolta tutti coloro che si lamentano che non va bene niente, per provare, almeno provare, a riempire uno spazio d'autore tanto faticosamente conquistato.
