About Toxic Newt Records

Newly born Toxic Newt Records was launched in the summer of 2007 in Brooklyn, NY. The debut release is titled, "Modern Man Blues" from the Dayton, OH powerhouse Murder Your Darlings. This album features 12 new tracks from the band and cover art by world famous Cleveland artist Derek Hess. The Village Voice has described their sound as being "locked down like a deadbolt delivering visceral uppercuts with precise aim." Maximumrockandroll has said the band "sound like Lemmy singing a lost Nirvana song." MYD will be hosting a CD release party in their hometown of Dayton, OH Saturday, September 1 at Canal St. Tavern.
