I'm Tracey. I'm a 35 yr old mom of three boys! I married my high school sweetheart, TIM! Been married to this great guy for over 17 years now. I love to write, read, watch movies, play music on the keyboard, trying to pluck on some guitar chords, chat online & on the phone, hang out with friends and family, and play with my dog and cats!
I am always amazed to see how things circle in life. I'm a firm believer in:

"what goes around, comes around".

And I try to live life with an open mind and a good heart. See below on how my life has really circled since I was a little girl...

I am a CHILDREN'S WRITER and CHILDREN'S BOOK REVIEWER. I love the children's genre!!! Can't you tell?!? *teehee* Picture books are my FAVORITE! I have been writing since I could hold a pencil or crayon & making up stories even before that. My Papa inspired me to use my imagination by telling me bedtime stories almost every night as a little girl. I wrote in high school, but never thought about taking anything further than a grade. After I became a mom, I started telling stories again. Some of them were the same ones my Papa had told me. After telling the boys a story concerning a little frog, my oldest (Nelson) looked at me and said, "Mom, THAT would make a cool book!" Needless to say it didn't take much encouragement after that. I've been taking my writing 'seriously' since. I am a member of the: .. Society

.. I am also the Contact Person for south Georgia in the Southern Breeze Region of SCBWI. I've gotten several writing credits to my name. Most are mag credits. One is for an ebook!!! Ho-ray!!! Guardian Angel Publishing will release "SHAPING UP THE YEAR" into the wild.
I think every writers dream is to be able to hold their own book in their hand, knowing that 'I did this!'. But the best feeling is knowing that you've touch someone else's life, holding their attention, bringing them to a different world/place/time. It's amazing what a book can do! I also have a group going for children's writers here on myspace. So check it out Children's Writers!!! It's called...Children's Writer.
