TRAINWRECK consists of members of ex EAVES & ENGRAVE and started rehearsing in October 2005. We recorded our first 12" in January 2006 followed by many shows in the following year. In 2006, we toured together with BURIAL YEAR and then with CEASE UPON THE CAPITOL. In december we started recording for the split LP/CD with COMADRE which came out on REACT WITH PROTEST & HEART ON FIRE & BLOODTOWN-RECORDS . 2007 saw us sharing the road with PATTERNS, GRAF ORLOCK and COMADRE in europe followed by a month long tour in the US, where we played up and down the westcoast with our buddies in COMADRE & GRAF ORLOCK + we also got to play one last show with the dudes in BURIAL YEAR and had Josh's new band DROWNING WITH OUR ANCHORS accompany us on some of the dates, as did GHOSTLIMB. After that we played a lot more shows in Europe including a tour with AKIMBO in December 2007. In Summer 2008 we toured again in Europe with COMADRE, followed by another tour through europe on our own. The four-way-split lp with ZANN, PERTH EXPRESS and GHOSTLIMB got released by ADAGIO830 Records in December 2008.
We entered the studio in february 2009 to record another 12" called "Of Concrete Canyons And Inner Wastelands", that is out now also on ADAGIO830. In the meantime we played a few shows in march with marcs new band GLASSES. Another Tour with Comadre on the US-Eastcoast followed in june. :D

There have been some complaints about us being christians, because we had "hc, punk, and christian rap" in the basic info of our space. We don't believe in neither a god nor religion or its institutions and we're obviously not making rap music.. That was supposed to be a joke! If you want to believe in a god or anything else for that matter, do so, but we believe that those things have nothing in common with hc/punk and d.i.y. ethics. We also absolutely oppose sexism, homophobia, antisemitism, racism and any other oppressional mechanisms of society. We support the idea of an anticapitalist and free association of equal and emancipated individuals, which should be, in our opinion, selfevident in the hc punk community. No gods, no masters!
