TRAP is mainly a
live rock band and its members cannot part for long with the stage, whether it
is that of a small bar or of a football stadium (not there yet!). Live
shows are full of energy, power and emotion, but not at all devoid of lyricism
and special musicianship both in cover songs and the band's personal songs.
TRAP started their magical music tour
in the world in 2001. The band was originally created by Akis Vintzileos, Agis
Krimpenis, John Lianos and Akis Tsagarakis and had another name. After few
line-up changes, TRAP reached 2007 with the current line-up. All original
members and the members that joined thereafter are great musicians with vast
musical knowledge and sometimes overwhelming experience in live shows and
studio recordings from a very young age.
At the beginning, the band was mainly
a cover band, performing songs from the Greek music scene, but as time evolved
more songs and influences mixed in and, as a result, very interesting songs
were composed. At the same time, live shows were the main goal, where the band
received raving reviews from fans and the press.
Currently (September 2008), TRAP is writing new songs and developing playlists for the upcoming live shows. In the same time, the band has booked a few gigs which will appear soon enough in the site. For now, enjoy our music and have a great time!
