NOTE: We get dozens of requests weekly from bands and musicians asking to drop a line. There is simply not enough time in the day to check out every band. With that said: SORRY BUT WE WILL NOT CHECK OUT YOUR BAND ON MYSPACE.
Trash Art! is an independent record label run by and for those who remember the power and cultural value of music. We try not to offer the same rehashed and hyper genre-fied bullshit that seems so prevalent these days. Trash Art! does not exist in order to help anyone climb a social ladder, or to further define a musical genre by increasingly narrower terms. We are here to push forward sounds and ideas, and we will continue to work with bands we feel are true to the traditions of a sound and culture that promotes independent thinking. Love it or hate it, this is for those who know.
A note to anyone who is downloading and/or "sharing" their music collection:
Please have some respect for the people involved in making music, and show some support by actually buying a record. And if you are "sharing" our releases, please stop.
