Record of The Day:Trash Fashion continue to impress with strong genre-bridging songs like this, the lead from their next EP. 'Why Cant We Be Friends' also features on a Japanese exclusive mini album released though Vinyl Junkie in May. Currently on tour, including many 'all ages' dates as part of a full UK jaunt, we know their live shows are fun as they played the RotD 5th birthday party at ITC last year.
Unpeeled: Bleeping, yelping, fractured disco-brat-beating with a kind of perverted art-math rock going on. Trash Fashion are a wonderful band.
Subba Cultcha: Jerky, electronic tinged, angular pop-rock....Bridging the gap between Garbage, Shit Disco and Jesus Jones, Trash Fashion make a gleeful noise – full of eighties camp and noughties ubercool. Effortlessly talented – and most importantly, they know how to structure a song. Hurrah!
