He has been writing rhymes since 1989, earning his stripes as one half of the charismatic and legendary rap duo Nuera. The name change was inspired by his decision to pursue a solo career. It captures his natural growth as an artist, as well as his new-found independence. The new name was taken from one of the artist's favorite movies in.. which the lead actor "cleans" the streets-disposing of trashy lowlifes by becoming a vigilante. Likewise, Travis Bicle, the garbage-rapper cleaner, spits so self-assuredly in English that even other artists have trouble distinguishing his true origin. "Are you from New York" is a question often asked of this man. .. Throughout his life, Travis has absorbed influences from around the world. Born and partially raised in Sweden, Travis was exposed to diversity at an early age. After moving to Finland, Mr. Bicle has resided in both Tampere and Helsinki.
