About me:
Born in Ann Arbor, MI, Trevor was shocked to discover his latent artistic abilities. "Am I from another planet?" he used to ponder as a child, but alas he soon discovered that he was a mere mortal by crashing his bike into a tree.
Now writing web comics on his site, www.trevor.exilecomics.com (and most recently on Drunk Duck), Trevor spends most of his time playing video games and watching DVDs instead of updating his comics on a regular basis. His latest attempt, @$$hole, is not entirely autobiographical. :P
###
Comics I work on are the following:
The Temple of a Thousand Tears: A fantasy / samurai epic filled with twists and turns. Updates tri-weekly: Monday, Wednesday, and then again on Fan Art Friday.
@$$hole!: My first attempt at a weekly "gag-a-day" comedy strip, which follows a character that looks a lot like me (and even shares my name), but has a creepy roommate that wants to eat people's souls! Also, the poltergeist in the apartment wants to kill Trevor, who is completely oblivious to his existence). Updates on Fridays.
###
After having graduated from Western Michigan University, I have moved back to the Ann Arbor area to start looking for a job in advertising. A creative and artistic individual, I enjoy writing / filming / drawing and reading other people's work as well. Nothing interests me more than to receive feedback about any work that I've done, and likewise, I enjoy giving feedback in return. I work as a Communications Planner for Campbell-Ewald, located in Southfield.
I have few regular routines, but some Mondays you can find me at a little club in downtown Ann Arbor called The Necto for Factory Night, and (almost) every Friday I throw a Movie Night party at my apartment. Everyone's invited, so if you ever want to show up just let me know and I'll get you directions.
Who I'd like to meet: ...someone smart, and who has a sense of humor. I always enjoy a good laugh. Good story-tellers are also the kind of people that I enjoy hanging out with. To be perfectly honest with you, I'd been searching for that perfect someone...somebody who makes me want to better myself.
She should also enjoy cuddling....
I am also still looking for friends and artists, interesting people with unique views on the world and an interest in entertainment culture and the business. "The Business" could refer to movies, comics, advertising, or any related field that I can't think of to mention here at the moment.
So I heard you live in Chicago now... wtf did that happen!? =) Just means you're closer to Wizard I guess. I won't be going this year unfortunately =( But I'm sure I'll find my way out to Chi-town this summer so prepare yourself for a visit!
start at $11 an hour plus comissions and monthly bonus oppurtunity of 9-14% of your monthly gross income. good benefits. mine and Katie's cost $75 a week for full dental and medical. its salary 5 days a week, but we usually work most saturdays as well- thats when you make most of your comission. Also, if you sell anything, you get about $50 per sale. The way comission works is every day you have invoices of jobs to complete(lawns to fertilize and spray weeds). However much the customer pays for the application, thats how much you get toward your daily goal. My goal is $1100, and most apps are from $45 to $55. thats about 22 -28 jobs a day. Once you hit your goal, you start to earn comission. email me at typhoongraphics@yahoo.com if you have more questions. I can let you know where they are and who to talk to. If you go in to apply right away, TELL THEM I REFERRED YOU and put that on your applicaion. I am magical.
im cheesetastic. I just bought a new guitar amp today and im going to rock out on it serious style. life's good. hows the overthrowing of world powers going? by the way have you gotten any ass from the ass station lately?
Hi dear. When I get a minute I'll try to catch you up on my life, although over the phone is easier, but the cell is dead, so call my house. If you need the number, just ask. I miss you tons. It seems like lots and nothing has happened since I saw you. Hope everything is great for you. XOXO
Motor city convention is in May - I'll be sure to be there. I'm thinking in the verry 'now' - I was thinking about X-Trava Con, but I haven't got my books back from the printer. That would be cutting it kind of close. I was able to get out today and talk to some bookstore managers about when they will do their next signing for authors. Yeah, I'll be all about he cons- afteral my book is 'superfiction'. -Joe
I'd love to go to an upcomming con- but the next time I want to go as a vendor with my book. Since it's just been release I have to get the word out first. So, my next step is to set up bookstore sessions. After that, I'll be all about the cons.
