If you're a fan of any/all of the above artists, then you might decide that Trevor Exter sucks.
Or not.
Trevor Exter was born in Ithaca, NY. He always played different things but kept coming back to the cello. He sits with the cello and sings, but he plays it weird - like a tiny bass, aquatic guitar or gigantic ukulele. He also hits it sometimes. He's been a sideman with many indie artists around NYC and beyond, and he competed in "NYC Soundtracks" in 2008, which is sort of like American Idol for New York Subway buskers (but cooler).
I started singing in Brazil and then
with De La Guarda here in NYC. You can find me often at Banjo Jim's,
Rockwood, Joe's Pub, Living Room, Sidewalk and those kinds of places,
mostly songwriter hangouts.
Touring a lot with Steve Kimock this year has been great.

8 conciertos, performances, obras multimedia y una exposición permanente de Instalaciones Sonoras, convergiendo así trabajos de artistas Nacionales e Internacionales de diversas estéticas y trayectorias que toman el trabajo del sonido como eje principal.
El Encuentro de Arte Sonoro TSONAMI es una plataforma Independiente, de difusión del trabajo de artistas Latinoamericanos y de intercambio con producciones del resto del mundo vinculadas a las Artes Sonoras. TSONAMI es además un punto de encuentro transdisciplinario en torno al arte contemporáneo y la temática del sonido.
