"New York based, Industrial outfit, Head Trip Conception
opened the show with a barrage of synth-heavy, electronically
conceived blasts. Their maniacal pulse and mechanical drone
oscillated between the haunting melodies of mid-80s
electronica and the acidic loops of early 90s techno.
Balanced entirely on samples and synths, I could only
imagine how much further a more volatile drum presence
could have pushed the rising waves of their ominous
soundscapes and the agonizing vocals of singer
Samuel Aronoff. Nevertheless, their monstrous rave
hooks made for a trip well worth ingesting."
