I'm going to change this to include my list of things I want to do before I die.
Go to Rio de Janiero to see the big statue of Jesus, see/hike around the Grand Canyon in person, go on a road trip with at least one friend, maybe get a skydiving license, see the Northern Lights, and a few more things that I can't remember right now.
Things on the list I've accomplished:
Went to the Holy Land, Flew in a plane withoug jumping out, Gone skydiving, swam in the Atlantic ocean, owned a metal garbage can, stood in a real phone booth (like the one Superman changed in), beat the computer at Jeopardy, and graduated college.
Musica
I like the musical stylings of Chris Rice, Norah Jones, Downhere, Frank Sinatra, Phil Wickham, Elvis Presley, Aaron Shust, Jim Brickman, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Weird Al Yankovic, Jack Johnson, Michael Buble, Josh Kelly, Billy Joel, and many others.
Film
Frequency, Backdraft, Stand By Me, Shawshank Redemption, Pretty Woman, The Matrix (but not the sequels to it), Must Love Dogs, Click, August Rush, and a bunch of others that I can't think of right now.
Televisione
Law and Order: SVU, Jeopardy, and Grey's Anatomy.
Libri
The Bible, The House on Beartown Road, When God is Silent, Brave New World, Lamb-The Gospel According to Biff-Christ's Childhood Pal, Heavens to Betsy. I used to read a lot more than I do now. I'm bad.

Chi sono: I am in my 3rd year of studies at an ELCA seminary. This means that I am out "in the field" doing my internship. I have two congregations, which are vastly different from each other. I learn a lot of things from both of my supervisors, and I'm confident my ministry will be deeply enriched by working with them. Jake and I got married on May 30, 2009 at my home congregation. I'm very happy to be married to him. We live in North Dakota because he has a two point parish up here, and my internship sites are in NoDak, too. It's beautiful, although a bit different from my growing up in Illinois. But, change spices things up, I reckon. I hope you all have a great day.
Oh, and just to brag:
Mi piacerebbe conoscere: You know, other than some Internet friends, I can't think of anyone else I'd like to meet.
Married life is OK - not much different than otherwise (except a tax break). Congrats on your upcoming wedding. I'm just bored in China and finally got a chance to message people (and China hasn't blocked myspace yet...they've got youtube blocked). ND sounds like a bit of a change, but being from Fieldcrest area means small towns are nothing new.
