TRYB - Digital Poppin’, feat. Chrono, Jelly For The Babies and Squarexcess remixes, out now on Elektrax Progressive.
About TRYB:
The group named TRYB [tribe] was formed on the spring of 2000 by the collaboration Kürt Filipe (rhythm), Tom-X Gaviali (melodies) and R2K (lyrics and concepts).
Before 2000 Kürt Filipe and R2K have already worked on collaborated projects in another formation. Their style was a mix techno with abstract melodies.
When Tom-X Gaviali joined them, it was only after months of experimenting that they settled within the genre of Trance. As the years passed, the members of the group became obsessed by the genre. The true goal of their work is to unfold real emotions in their songs, and make the style more popular in the region.
Tom-X Gaviali:
His interest in music goes back to the eighties, where he was amazed by the sounds and music made by synthesizers. He is still influenced today by analogue synthesizer sounds and the techno pop era. Although group's instrumentation is slightly hard, its still the emotions and melodies that play the main role within his music.
R2K:
His inspiration for abstract melodies comes from softwares and cyber culture. All the lyrics are made by him. Besides lyrics, he has enriched the group with his musical concepts and ideas.
Kürt Filipe:
He started as a techno DJ – this is how his interest in music creation has started. He is responsible for the arrangements and the rhythms within the songs. He is the engine of the team.
