What is TTWD Fest?
TTWD is an all day music festival held at the Old Gilliam Mill Park outside of Sanford, NC on August 8, 2009. The park is a replica of a 19th century grist mill, and it is a great place to see music. Bands play in an amphitheatre style setting on a stage that looks like the front porch of an old shack. It has sort of an “Austin City Limits” feel. There are campsites with electricity, running water, bathrooms, and showers. There is also a full kitchen onsite, and food and beverages will be provided by Bella Bistro.
Click Here for Directions or point your GPS to 4613 Carbonton Rd, SANFORD, North Carolina 27330 (This is the closest physical address to the park. The park itself is on Hwy 42/Carbonton Road in between Wakefield Road and Pickard Road.)
Who should come to TTWD?
People who appreciate the edgier things in life – all for $5!
TTWD provides an eclectic mix of musical acts that tend to come from the Indie, Punk, Metal, and Pop persuasion, but don’t be surprised if we throw in a martial arts display or an old school country act from time to time. If you like music that tends to be on the edgier side played by musicians who do it for the love of music, then TTWD is the festival for you. You can’t beat the price either. All day tickets only cost $5, but we encourage you to support any of the acts you like by contributing to the tip jar and buying their merch!

Camp out overnight!
TTWD is all about the fun & frolic, so we encourage you to be safe and camp out with us. The Old Gilliam Mill Park has plenty of campsites to accommodate all types of camping (campers, tents, beds of pickup trucks, etc.), and since many of the bands are coming from out of town, most of them will be camping out at the park. The party really didn’t begin at last year’s festival until the bands stopped playing. The Old Gilliam Mill Park is on private property so just about anything goes! We do ask that you be respectful of the park and its grounds, so we can do it all again next year!
