The band was formed in 2005 under the name Violator.
The first influence was the 80's bay area thrash scene, and that's what Violator played. As a result, they recorded their first demo track, "Collapsed Mind", on 2006.
Eventually, Violator developed their own sound,having as influence the whole metal scene,and after many line-up changes, changed their name to Turbulence.
Turbulence got in the studio on April, 2007 to record their first EP.It finished a year later, May 2008.The EP is called "Cryonics", and consists of 4 songs, which are a mix of thrash/speed/prog/heavy metal. Turbulence are currently writing music for their debut album, an album that will sound nothing like Cryonics or Collapsed Mind demo.
