I am Honored to be your friend. Welcome to the Circle of Native Warrior Women.

    THE CIRCLE OF LIFE

Through the Circle of Life we are connected to all things.
The food we eat, the water we drink, and the air we breathe from
Mother Earth. She shares her body with us.
In this way we are connected to her and all plants and animals.
Just as Mother Earth is connected to the Sun and the Stars, so are we.

OUR CIRCLE HAS FOUR PARTS: Mental, Emotional, Physical,
and Spiritual. When walk in balance we are in the Center of Our Circle.
From the Center we can better hear our Inner Wisdom.
Listening to our Inner Wisdom helps us walk in balance.

The drum is sacred, and a person should have respect when coming around the drum. There is some basic Drum etiquette, Treat the drum as it is a small child. Don't curse around it do not leave it unattended and give it water. Men sit at the drum and the women stand behind the drummer, to keep them safe from the ones that do not respect the traditions of our ancestors. There can be women drummers and when there are, then its women only and vise a versa. When one sex is sitting at the drum then the other stands behind and sings or uses the hand drum. But always the outer circle protects the hub of the sacred hoop, the drum. Man should take their hats off and women should wear a shawl around the shoulders. This is to show that the people understand the ways and more teachers will come to teach. If this is not practiced the drum will go away.
  • Heroes

Crazy Horse was a A KEE CHEE TA, This was a shirt wearer , A man that takes care of his people. A social worker Crazy Horse had a gift for getting what the people needed. Because he was so good he had a lot of people follow him. This made him envied by his peers and so they set him up and stabbed him. Crazy House was not a Sun dancer and he was not a full blood.

In light of the history and plight of this country's first peoples, this country's indigenous people That seen enough non-natives co-occupation of Native American culture, practices and ways, so I would like to remind people that this show is by and for Native Americans and those who support the growth and continuation of our cultures. We would like to ask for the respect of our human rights to free speech and our Native rights to self determination and self representation. We do not represent Cabrillo College, KZSC, nor the U.C.regents. Nor do we speak for all native Americans, however we hold a platform for any native, or native group to speak.
