Twisted Link began life as a psychedelic cloud of smoke back in 2003, when Alex language, Wil_Blaze and Douglas Chatterman began mixing their own brand of ‘D-I-Y philosophy’ with bedroom produced Hip-Hop beats........................................................With lyrical styles that range from poetically reflective to energetic and disgustingly offkey they went about blending this mix with instrumental vibes that stretch from beautifully melodic to straight dirty glitch-funk. The end product of this eclectic musical mayhem might be described as what would happen if Apex Twin, Lupe Fiasco, Foreign Beggars and Jeff Buckley collaborated on an album..................................................Having released their well received debut E.P ‘Chronic Contemplation’ in ’07, 2009 see’s the release of ‘Discombobulated’; an experimental and up-beat ‘electro-glitch-hop’ mini album, for the tech-head-electro-glitch-lovin’-Hip-Hoppers out there.....................................................Loving to hit up stages as much as hibernating in a studio, Twisted links’ performances are always packed with energetic musical vibes and amusing crowd participation, with Twisted DJ ‘Chrissy Kybosh’ spinning the noise and producer ‘Wil_Blaze’ banging out madness on the MPC.....................................................Over the years, Twisted Link have invaded stages up and down the country countless times, performing for large crowds alongside such names as Jehst, Skinnyman, Rodney P, Yungun, Phi Life Cypher, Verb T, Klashnekoff and Immortal Technique, amongst many others....................................................Currently the group are promoting ‘Discombobulated’ at shows and festivals, working on their next releases and generally “keeping it funky”…
