17th September 09 - VOCALIST AUDITIONS COMMENCE!
Howdy all :)
After letting the dust settle, I thought its time to dispell a couple of untruths and give y'all the lowdown.
As you may have heard, we have indeed parted ways with our frontman. I dont wish to discuss the issues and reasons behind his departure out of respect for Sid, and we wish him all the best with his future music projects. Despite the rumours going round, we will not be performing with him one last time next month at Speak Easy and we are no longer going to do this gig.
So now the fun begins! Auditions begin next week so if you fancy your chances then please do get in touch asap. If you think you know someone perfect for the position then give us their contact details and/or pass this message on..it would be greatly appreciated as we want to spread the word as far as possible and audition as many singers as we can. We will be recording very soon but are in no rush due to us having no more gigs booked, meanin we can take our time to find the right person.
We are searching for:
-Someone who ultimately has their own style, but must have a great scream and preferably the ability to sing too.
-Someone with a great stage presence and suitable image.
-Someone who is financially stable, 100% committed, and able to rehearse at least twice weekly.
-Own transport would be preferable as would past experience in gigging bands but this isnt mandatory.
-Someone who has a sense of humour! :)
So if you think you tick the boxes then get in touch as soon as possible so that we can have a chat and get you down to our long let rehearsal room in Nottingham. For the audition process we would ask you to learn Romance Is Dead by Parkway Drive (a song easily found on the internet and one which we cover live), and at least one song of your choice on our myspace page (we will sort you out with lyrics).

26th August 09 - TMH PART WAYS WITH TA PROMOTIONS
TMH and Total Annihilation Promotions have parted ways and we would like to make clear our appreciation for the time that they invested in working with us over the past twelve months. This means that TMH ARE NO LONGER AFFILIATED WITH TA PROMOTIONS and that all future correspondance with/from them should be treated as independant and seperate from ourselves.

11th May 09 - TMH ANNOUNCE NEW BASSIST ANDY
A month of uncertainty and speculation comes to a close as TMH fill the void left by previous bassist Stuart Waddicor.
We would like everyone to warmly welcome ex-Invey Bassist Andy Goulter who joins our lineup with immediate effect. Andy is a superbly talented musician whom shares our enthusiasm and ambition, and we are very pleased to be in a strong position to move forward now in the summer of 2009.
TMH would like to place on record a huge thankyou to all who showed interest in the position.

1st April 09 - TMH AND STU PART WAYS
It is with complete sadness that we announce the departure of our bass player and close friend Stu Waddicor. The decision was made by himself a few days ago due to health issues..unfortunately this is not an April Fools.
Stu will continue to design our graphics, and aid us in various ways but he is no longer an active member of the band that he co-founded almost three years ago. We would like to thank him for all of the hard work, time, money, and love he has invested in TMH - none of which was taken for granted.
It's come as a sickening blow to us but TMH is at a stage where things are moving for us and we can't afford to halt our progress. Therefore, Bass auditions will commence immediately for anyone who thinks they can handle the ride.
We are looking for a competant Bassist who is financially stable, and shares our dreams and ambitions. He or she must be suitably committed, and own their own gear..transport of course would be advantageous. It would also be desireable for the applicants to be able to contribute to the song writing process, whilst also having an energetic/compatible stage presence/appearance.

09th Feb 09 - THANKYOU
Firstly, TMH want to say a HUGE thankyou to every single person who has helped get 2009 off to a fantastic start! The comeback gig was a fantastic success..the venue was rammed, we sold an insane amount of raffle tickets/merch, and the pits were the craziest to date. The bar has now been set and we intend to keep on raising it with the help of you.
Tickets are selling well for our upcoming trip to CAMDEN for which we have privately hired a coach. So for just 30 pounds you can travel with the band, get entry to the gig and DJ sets, spend St Paddy's day in the capital, and get dropped off at your door..how many bands would offer this?!
On top of this we are also headlining a ma-hoosive bill at THE FACTORY, playing a sick BOTB as we compete for a place at this years BLOODSTOCK FESTIVAL, playing second to main support for 'Say No To Emo's' all-dayer, and headlining [Junction] SEVEN for the first time since re-opening.
We are also excited to report that TMH have secured two new endorsement deals with DRAGONS LAIR TATTOO STUDIO and VIRUS AUDIO. There will be many more to follow as we go from strength to strength.

30th Dec 08 - The Comeback
Afternoon boys and girls - hope you are all enjoying the holidays! TMH and TA want to thank everyone firstly that came to the Leicester gig where we unveiled our new vocalist. Also a big hug for every single person who has so far taken photos, video footage, and purchased our merch.
As reward for everyones hard work, we have made our big comeback gig at SPEAK EASY in NOTTINGHAM completely FREE! So don't let us down people! It's on FRIDAY the 6th of FEBUARY and we have got 3 damn fine bands supporting us so get there in plenty of time.
Can't make it? Not to worry because we have also laid on 3 Derby dates for y'all, including BLOODSTOCK FESTIVAL battle of the bands which we will need everyone's support for...we would love so much to play bloodstock. It's at The Rockhouse (previously First Floor) so lets see some faces down there pleaseee.

20th Dec 08 - The Last Few Months
Welcome everyone to the NEW TMH! As you may have noticed, we have been a wee bit quiet on the news front over the past 3 months but let me fill you in as we have been rather busy behind the scenes.
To summarise, we have:
new management
a new vocalist
a new myspace
new merch
new recordings
new material
So as you can imagine, things have been pretty hectic for us despite our absence from the gigging scene. We want to thank everyone for their patience and help during this period, and we are pleased to say that it has more than paid off.
Two nights ago we headlined a 'secret' gig with local act Carnirvorz; the final step in preparing ourselves and our new vocalist Sid for the return of TMH.
On TUESDAY evening it begins - we take to the stage and unveil our new direction in LEICESTER at the MUSICIAN with two of the best bands we have ever played with, INTERNAL CONFLICT and TRAITOR BORN. It's completely FREE so please come and support us because it's going to be an amazing night and frankly, we deserve it. The entire band will be staying in Leicester all evening for post-gig drinking and crazyness so feel free to come across and have a few shandies with us!

Two Minutes Hate
Formed from the ashes of various Nottingham / Derby projects, Two minutes Hate began life as a few musicians, all relative strangers sharing a hunger to make music. The group went through the usual initial teething problems, recruiting the right guitarist proving particularly difficult.
This aside, eventually what was thought to be a permanent line-up was formed and writing began full-time. The group compiled a list of material they were happy with which reflected their musical desires at the time and then began the hard slog of full-time gigging.
Working flat-out, Two Minutes Hate spent their first year gigging constantly, building an impressive list of colleagues and experiences. All the while over that first year the band bonded and became close friends, sharing ups and downs along the way.
Eventually things changed and after 18 months, an EP release and an ever increasing fan base, the group met to take stock of their efforts. It was decided that the current direction was drifting from the original plan and for the sake of the music, the integrity of the members and the love of doing it, things had to move on.
In 2008 Two Minutes Hate ended up parting ways with Vocalist Alex Rozynski. The band decided to continue however and set about taking Two Minutes Hate where they wanted it to go. Not long after, a management deal was signed with Total Annihilation. This proved to be a cruicial move and very quickly the Annihilation team became part of the TMH family.
Shortly after Annihilation were onboard, new Vocalist Sid Strange was found. Sid had been a bass player for a local band and had been struggling internally with a desire to sing. He auditioned and his talents were very quickly realised and so he was promptly snatched up by the band.
Now as they enter 2009, TMH are on the brink of realising the culmination of their efforts. A range of merchandise has been designed and resultantly has lead to a sponsorship deal with Afterlife clothing, of Nottingham. The band's myspace is now looking superb, thanks to the efforts of Jord of Corrupt Design and the photographic genius of Gwyllam "G" Greedy.
As the band have become to know too well however things never go completely to plan and with just a quarter of the year gone, co-founding member Stuart Waddicor made the tough decision to leave Two minutes Hate on health grounds. Through necessity, he was quickly replaced a month later by ex-Invey Bassist Andy Goulter.
The next step...?
Recording, promoting and touring of new material. It promises to be a big year for the five-some, with each of them very much looking forward to the journey ahead.
