BIOGRAPHY

"I was born in the evergreens of the pacific northwest.
I was raised in the cornfields of small-town iowa.
I live in the home of country music, nashville, tn.
I write my songs on the upright piano in my house
under the windows where the sun shines in.
I will never cease to be inspired by Bob Dylan, The Beatles,
Tom Waits, Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Nick Drake, David Bowie,
Rainer Maria Rilke, Woody Allen, Al Green, and The Band.
I’ve spent the last few years traveling the states on my own in my VW. When its right, I take my band....cause that’s how I hear it in my head. I’ve released some records over the years that most people have nice things to say about. Some people have said that my career is “blowing up” and others have said I should probably get a job.
I am one of the many who aren’t sure
what being an adult is suppose to look like.
This is where competition gives way to community,
pessimism to purpose, and restlessness to inspiration.
