| Influences | Hopefully, I sound like myself - the music is all over the map genre-wise (everything from jazz to surf to metal) but I think that it all hangs together.
Everyone expects instrumental guitar rock to be pure shredding, but that's not what I'm about. I love shredding instrumental rock - (I sometimes I do it myself - check out the second half of the song 'The Difference Engine' to hear me launch) - but I would say that my music is more like classic rock instrumentals - it's about the groove, the melody, the feel. Instead of writing songs that are all guitar solo, the lead guitar takes the place of the lead singer in this music. |
