INFLUENCES
Electromagnetic Fields, Lunar Cycles and West Siberian RQ-111, oh we thought you said influenzas
"Mark my words; Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker are going to be huge. Not only does this duo create intelligent, catchy drum and bass pop songs, they also put on an unmatched stellar live performance."
"Boo-Schultz and The Human Kebab emit a high-octane energy that spread through the Edgefest 2008 crowd. Reviews of the summer festival, which brought big name acts like Linkin Park and the reunited Stone Temple Pilots to the Toronto area, highlighted USS as the band that stole the show."
"One of the perqs of this job is that I get to hear records before they’re released to the general public. I just sat through Questamation from USS. Astonishing. Bloody astonishing. When Welding the C:/ came out last year, I was confused about how a band could emerge so fully-formed out of nowhere. Their sound, style and image were far more sophisticated that anyone might expect from such a new band. And a complete indie, at that. The new album takes everything they learned from the first EP and gives it all a titty-twister up to 11."
You make music in my heart - every time I listen to your CD. Awesome show in Ottawa (Live Lounge) a few weeks back. Looking forward to your next show :)
I had a dream I held a birthday party for my long-deceased rabbit. Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker were enlisted to enliven the celebrations, and they covered "Blister in the Sun" by the Violent Femmes. USS brought my bunny back to life, in the Lazarus way, not the zombie way.
Yo cloudboys, I guess by having adhered to your fandom, I should present you my heart. I'm fairly assured that you won't let me down. (ie. keep up the phenomenal music & performances). Had an awesome time @ the CapitalCityMusicalHall
