"One of the best emerging new U.S. bands you've never heard of."

Hailing from Portland, Oregon, the psychedelic pop quartet UHF formed in 1998. In 2000, the lads released the concept album LOTTERY which garnered national critical acclaim and nationwide college radio airplay. In 2002, UHF released IF IT WAS EASY. Produced by pop mastermind Gregg Williams (whose credits include Dandy Warhols and Sheryl Crow), IF IT WAS EASY earned critical acclaim, radio airplay and television sound bites. Extensive touring of the West Coast followed in 2003 and 2004.
UHF's latest record, ALL OUR GOLDEN TOMORROWS, released nationally January 2006. The disc has been receiving critical acclaim and West Coast radio play.
ALL OUR GOLDEN TOMORROWS is available to be purchased now at CDBaby and at iTunes.
“Heart Attack” was just played on Q101’s Local 101 show Sunday 6/22. Bret Bassi with Chicago MOB Fest was on the show and gave The Redfords a GREAT introduction; you have to hear it to believe it! You can hear the whole thing for yourself on Q101’s My Space page at www. myspace. com/local101. Look under “The Show” section and it is the one called “Local 101 06-22-08 part 1”. The Redfords are the 4th song so you don’t have to listen long.
I just listened to "Night Terrors Rough" for the first time and the vocals completely remind me of Matt Johnson of The The (esp Mind Bomb). Then I noticed that your drummer's (also vocals) name is Matt Johnson. Is that right? Hmmm. I shall ponder that. Great song!
Check out my new song "Something Stirs"! Let me know what you think. I'll also be putting up a brand new song "When The Dust Settles" tomorrow sometime!

It's playing now at www. myspace. com/fdmer and www. myspace. com/fdmer2 (because you always have a choice). Check out the reviews, or be brave - buy it direct from our site, or from Piccadilly Records, Norman, Rough Trade or Heyday - we really don't mind! And stay cool.
