The Futureproof Imagesystem is a modular visuals rig encompassing lots of CRT computer monitors built into custom cases which are stacked to form a video wall. Typically this video wall is then used to display large images, split up over the screens. We often use the video wall in tandem with cinematic projections. Since it's birth, the Imagesystem has played out at Firefly @ The Ballroom, Corsica Studios (London) and The Electric Lounge @ the famous Broadway Cinema (see image below). If you want to hire the image system, it comes at a super-cheap price and comes with a team of handsome engineers to operate it. Message us!
Futureproof is a group of musicians, DJs, artists, promoters and enthusiasts who aim to bring you the finest in underground electronic music alongside cutting edge digital visual art. We hold regular parties at the Blueprint club in Nottingham. We also just threw our first ever one day arts festival - something we plan to make an annual event. We have a sister group in Nottingham called Futureproof Films who, funnily enough, make films.

Opening with the awesome bass pressure of the minimalist masterpiece ‘Deadstep’ and ending with the sublime underwater claustrophobia of ‘Unnamed Methane Sea’ this release is set to cement Micoland’s reputation as one of the people responsible for truly moving the dubstep blueprint into exiting new aural landscapes.

"At moments I'm reminded of Jeff Mills in his more chilled outings, perhaps messing around with Luke Vibert. At others there's the spirit of Tobias Schmidt in his Le Chimp Atomique phase. Mostly, though, I'm just impressed by how original, moving and cool the whole caboodle turns out to be."

Hmm, nice idea! I'll get back to you, I reckon it would be a wicked night, and I think there's techno in panorama anyway. If you'd rather do something local, I'd say forget the timetables, come when it's convenient and we'll try Watergate or Arena - bound to be something else good on if they're not up to scratch.
I haven't looked that far ahead! I reckon you'd have to be VERY unlucky indeed to find a weekend in which there aren't at least three good things going on. So far I've been more concerned with the clubs than with who's playing - and I've yet to be dissatisfied with the music. Just have a browse of the Resident Advisor event listings. The dubstep night at berghain on July 11th is probably going to be special, but might be a struggle to get in... think it's paying guestlist only or something.
You may remember Max Cooper from his simply awesome ‘Custard Crush’ track last year. Now he delivers ‘FRANK’. He manages to cover a number of genres from house to techno to progressive, a combo that I’m sure will leave the many a listener drooling at the mouth. The large dark filtering bass rolls along to a un-miss able groove - 4/5
Glad it went well, I had the nottingham crew in mind this weekend too! Berlin is echt geil, and you should all come out soon for a visit to see how civilised 24 hour techno can be...
Hey whats going on just dropping by cause i aint done in time let ya know iv got a new blog with some news please take a look drop us a comment back its all ways appreciated. nuff luv
Yesterday's event was awesome, and last night was bloody ridiculous. That's my first taste of dubstep in Nottingham, and I liked it a lot. A different vibe to what I'm used to in London. Nice work!
