The RIYAZ MASTER PROJECT is an experimental non-narrative road movie filmed in India inspired by the cultural, economic and spiritual context that we discovered on our voyage.
This video approaches an abstract and futuristic vision of the complex matrix called Indian nation. Our former explorations around the old industrial landscapes and the filthy fertile environments led me to imagine the possibilities of the development of a future India. Our search for the elusive electronic tabla machine, the Riyaz Master, brought us on a journey through the breathtaking landscapes from Auroville to Kolkata, Varanasi to Bhopal.
Some of the sequences include Aghori Nauminath a member of Aghora (an extremely secretive sect of Hinduism) filmed along the Ganga, being the only human appearance in this film; the rests of Durga idols (the supreme goddess, embodiment of femenine and creative energy ) inmersed in the water along the Hooghly river in Kolkata and the Matrimandir, the spiritual centre of the international community in Auroville.
Future Ethnic Comparative Research videoart & experimental electronic music LAB is about to release a 45m DVD with the images shot by Umabeecroft and the original electronic music composed by Sigmoon with some low tech indian electronic musical machines & cinematic sounds + the special collaboration of the japanese cyberpunk writer, Kenji Siratori for the spoken words.

Twentyone is the title of Coushin's first ep for Audiovisual Theorem. A perfect exercise of digital abstraction with a duration of twenty-one minutes. The 50% of spanish techno duo called Agonyforces show us with Coushin his intimate music side, which goes on between glitches and breaks through a music landscape full of emotions and mathematic textures. Melancholic IDM and millimetric avant-techno. Robotic rhythms and sensibility shake hands to configure the music imaginary of an enigmatic sounds and nostalgy full of melodies alchemist.
Inspired by lords as George Romero, Max Brooks, Goblin or Zombie Zombie; Echtra starts as a sonorous experiment to discover with its music, apocalypse, shadows, primitive.... something like the soundtrack of the end of the world. After their debut with the track “Apuntar a la cabeza” included in the compilation, coreleased in collaboration with the german label rec72, “Of men and machines” (avtheorem_017), Echtra EP is the start point of a brilliant project around the krautrock, the electro and the psychedelic rhythms. A band of vintage synths and solanum lovers that will transport you to the catharsis.
"Vadge Moore is an American author and musician that has spent a lifetime testing the boundaries of good and evil. He toured and recorded with the infamous sleaze-punk institution The Dwarves, apocalyptic rock group Neither-Neither World, and his own nihilist-noise unit Chthonic Force. He has written for the early nineties occult journal Primal Chaos, the esoteric magazine Dagobert's Revenge, and the controversial web 'zine Synthesis. Recently Vadge has taken up an aphoristic-prose style of writing that best expresses his iniquitous and sinister insights into the mind of Man. Chthonic: Prose & Theory is just that; prose wedded to theory that scrutinizes the human, all too human, Monster that is Man."
"Chthonic: Prose & Theory" is a collection of perverse and violent prose wedded to his own brand of occult esoterica. Peer into the mind of one of America's greatest living libertines.
(avtheorem & rec72) VV.AA. - Of men and machines (2009)
"Of men and machines" is an hommage to the relationship between machines and mankind. This compilation is considered to be a tribute to the perfect symbiosis men and machines can reach. Since the appearance of machines, they've been closely linked to the concept of progress. Every generation of machines is more perfect and mankind benefits from this evolution. "Of Men And Machines" demonstrates that creativity of human beings is multiplied exponentially with machines - no question.
18 artists from around the world expound their personal relationship between machines and themselves to produce emotions and sounds. Thus the netlabels Audiovisual Theorem and rec72 employ the same relationship to approach the infinite possibilities and collaborate in a compilation that travels through a variety of music styles. Expect IDM all over the place, dance to Dubstep, chill with Triphop, make yourself comfortable with minimal house and let experimental Electronica run through your headphones.
“Imprevisible crono” is the second lp from Komatsu, álter ego of the wellknown spanish producer Héctor Sandoval. He started to show us his most personal face off his successful techno proyect Exium two years ago; the name behind his elegant mixture of emotional IDM and avant-techno. Imprevisible crono, is another step in the unstoppable evolution of his sound. An artist who has demonstrated an unlimited exposure in the fields where many years ago the artists from the British Isles set the bases. Concretion of ideas, devotion and reflection to give us timeless IDM where the beats sounds powerful and the glitches meditated in a trip in the search of the pefect sound.
