Este texto no pretende ser una apologia. Tampoco es mi intencion hacer un ensayo erudito en el que quede al descubierto algun hilo negro filosofico, poetico o psicologico, y definitivamente no es una carta de despedida. Algunos podran estar de acuerdo con los planteamientos aqui expuestos, otros no, pero creo necesario resaltar el hecho de que el llamado "consuelo filosofico" posee tres caracteristicas que le valen el apelativo de "arte": Es un medio de expresion, requiere tecnica y disciplina, y es, en la mayoria de los casos, vocacional.
...Aunque haya muchas variables que nos orillen a tomar esta desicion, siempre exsiste una constante: La soledad. Vacio (diria Sabines), pero vacio de una costilla a otra, dejas que la muerte te abraze lentamente, dandote el consuelo que no encuentras en la vida, el mundo o el ser humano, hasta que finalmente te llena con su calida oscuridad. La muerte te acaricia suavemente y te invita a regresar al origen, a la tierra, al utero. Se vuelve la madre que siempre necesitaste, la amante que siempre quisiste, la mejor amiga que puedes tener. La comida pierde su sabor, dormir se vuelve una utopia, el amor se convierte cruelmente en una promesa rota de felicidad, y el sexo es una señal del eterno retorno a la dulce oscuridad del vientre materno (perdoname cielo si al hacer el amor en vez de cunas pienso en feretros)...
