The foundation of Union Pulse is Boston native singer-guitarist James Redding. James began writing his rootsy, organic songs in the 1990s, when groups like Soul Asylum and Counting Crows ruled the airwaves. Taking influence from that era's moody riffs and catchy melodies, Redding's human insight and turn of phrase blend the best elements of alternative, pop, and country with the depth of classic rock, blues, and roots rock. Honest songwriting and raw, unstructured guitarwork make Union Pulse a timeless brand of American music.
