Unsharpen Dawn | NEW SONGS ONLINE

When 4 young individuals start a band it is likely to be over soon. But here is an exception….Unsharpen Dawn! They are young, ambitious and they will prove their musical skill with their upcoming album “Six Billion Fates”. They walk the modern metal path, without the annoyance of the so often heard stereotypes, brave to experiment with unconventional songwriting. Unsharpen Dawn wear off what they want, without fitting in any role or bow to any rule.

So all up there on the metal olymp beware!

Found in 2007 from Kay Drzewiecki (vocals) and Michael Burger (guitar & vocals) called Unsharpen Death they were completed in 2008 with Karl-Arnold Bordawé (bass), Philip Diem (drums) and Christian Tauscher (guitar). One year later, in 2009, they recorded the self titled EP, after touring and promoting it, they started writing and producing their first full length album with assistance of Stephan Fimmers (Necrophagist), who not only recorded the bass but produced it in his studio with Christian Tauscher. The album should be released in 2011. In the early 2011 Stefan "Dr. A" Ammer replaced Kay Drzewiecki on the vocals and with the entry of the bassplayer Christian "Mucki" Umkehrer, a long search has come to an end.

Unsharpen Dawn, influenced by bands like “Machine Head”, “It dies today”, “Caliban”, and many more, play modern metal the way they like it. They mix brute riffs with melodic leadrhythms and grooving drum´s and improve this great base with insistent shouts, growls and clean vocals to sing along to.
So lend them your ear and get blown away from Unsharpen Dawn (Germany).
