About me: Urbana is a missions convention put on by InterVarsity. Urbana 09 will be held in St. Louis December 27-31, 2009. Thousands of people were there to worship God and learn more about his mission in the world. YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!! I am so glad that God has lead me to be a part of IV, the people and staff here in Montana are absolutely amazing!!! I love them all to death!!! Anyway, i was just writing this to say that i wish we could have an Urbana 07, and an Urbana 08, I really wish I didn't have to wait till 09, but I am still very excited!!! It was just me and one other person that went with at 06 from Montana State Bozeman, but in 09, i know that there will be alot, and i mean ALOT more!!!! So get excited!!!!
How are you after Urbana 06? What are you living and thinking? Let's share! For me, it was a great crosscultural experience! My history was in the Urbana Today (December 30) and until now I am still sayind (sharing) what God have done to me in the US. I am teacher of physical therapy, and God has given me the opportunity to share Jesus Christ' style of life with them. Each Monday we meet each other to study about Jesus. Pray for us and give thanks with me for all God have done. To Him, Be Glory!

it's been two months, but i'm still psyched over Urbana. it's taken this time that i've been back to really see what God is doing in my life. i am definitely a different person from who i was before Urbana. my life is different, my perspectives are different, and God is starting to open doors. i can see Him moving and it's sooo exciting!!!

We had a 'Mission/Journey to the Nations' week at our church this past week, w/ the missionaries who represent us & other missions agencies there. i can actually say after attending service Sat. night, i had a glimpse of Urbana '06 in a strange way, & was taken back to that time almost. Pretty nostalgic.
SO awesome to hear & see what God's doing around the world, though!

Sad story, but this past Friday night, Jan 27th, exactly 1 month after Urbana 06 started, my Urbana 06 wristband/bracelet fell off once & for all while i was babysitting! just thought i'd share that w/ you all. a sad day indeed!!
It was a true blessing for our organization to have the opportunity to participate in Urbana '06.
Middle East Fellowship is a Christian nonprofit that sponsors summer service learning projects in the Middle East. Currently we have programs in Damascus, Syria and Bethlehem, Palestine. Participants serve the local community, live with host families, study Arabic and meet local community leaders and representatives.
Honestly I went into Urbana06 not knowing what God was gonna do if anything and have come out a totally different person! :o) I was able to just go with the flow there and allow God to work and man did He work! He is still working! I remember every detail of the trip and have been sharing each thing with everyone I know and even new people I have met! God is opening doors for me and confirming things I never thought possible! I recommend
