The DIY spirit of URBCOM was born, instigated primarily for fun,and a labour of love. As well as an essential channel of release for their own individual band-projects,recordings and concept-artist compilations. Promoted and marketed directly to a progressive, modern open-minded worldwide-audience. Combined with the exposure, and support from numerous music allies, writers, magazines / E-zines,DJ's and pirate-college radioshows around the globe. From the outset URBCOM chose to deviate, and take the bull by the horns, bypassing a cynical,corporate over-commercialised music industry. In favor of running and establishing their own independent music production label with complete creative control. While still showcasing, encouraging, and working with other affiliated artists on the international music-art-club-scene. Dedicated to producing new edgy,innovative electronic music. Journeying from industrial, IDM, drum & noise to ambient-electro-EBM dance, and the avant-garde.
