About a year ago, bassist/programmer/producer Paul Barker ( ex Ministry/Revolting Cocks) and guitarist/composer Duane Denison (The Jesus Lizard/Tomahawk) decided to start a new band. They got together and wrote some material, liked what they heard, and then recruited an unknown but extremely talented young vocalist/multi instrumentalist named Gary Call. They wrote some more material, liked that too, and then recruited drum wizard Johnny Rabb (clinician, author, inventor) to finish the lineup. They began rehearsing and recording in the fall of ’06 and have now finished their first album. Paul, Duane and Johnny, you should know all about by now; Gary, you want to know (though you don’t know it yet). The band intends to tour to the far corners of the globe starting in the summer of ’07.
Hello to everyone of you!!! It's a pleasure to find you on MySpace... I'm a longtime fan of Paul, 14 years circa I believe, and he influenced me in a very positive way... it's great to see him with good musicians like you all doing new, fresh, energic music!!! It's a pity that I live in Italy, but believe me, I would love to collaborate with you one day ^^ "The Spoils" is one of the best albums of the last 2 years and I'm sincerely anxious to hear more material from you!!! All my best wishes and a great hug to each one of you (pardon my english) fron Italy! Dani
Hi, I wish I could have got to see Duane when he was in Baton Rouge a couple of weeks ago with the LSS, but I was sick with a damn summer cold and could not make it, better luck for me next time hopefully. much love xxoo
Do not miss an audio interview I gave to Radio GodMode which will be aired 2 times a week at evening hours during August 2009 on Radio GodMode, hosted by Silvermyth!
The first Sunday broadcast turned out great and we were listening to it with the loved one and my great friends including Adam from Skrew (note the interview with him is almost done for publishing at the magazine!) :)
I'll tell you about the REAL industrial rock vibe, remixes fashion, influences, bands recommendations, Fabryka magazine and some other stories ;) Plus, as usually great music!
