Jonathan vanAtom is a professional producer & remixer. Redefining music with a new style in every song. But the most distinctive characteristic in his works is their cinematic, epic sound. He prides himself on making every song a production… no compromises, no quickies and no settling for second best. If a song just doesn’t work, it won’t be released.
Jonathan vanAtom started DJing in 1999 and began producing not long afterwards. His style was dry at first but grew into something much larger in recent years. Jonathan began developing an interest in electronica shortly after moving to Melbourne, Australia, where he was heavily influenced by the local dance scene. His first album, "Deception in Dminor", was released late 2001 and his second release, "Hardclass of 2003", was released early 2004. Currently, Jonathan is studying Music Synthesis at Berklee College of Music in Boston while he experiments with exciting new genres and works on his third album.
No shit, anjuna, eh? ;) Nice choice. I've been pushing out a few tunes here and there... couple releases coming up this month, and trying to get outside while it's warm and sunny. And I hear you on the grad school thing. I'm STILL trying to afford it! Haha
HAHAHAHA oh my goodness that's awesome I saw Jack yesterday! Ran into him coming into Berklee as I was leaving work. Any other gigs you got lined up in the near future?
Of course! Gotta support my favourite people :) Hope you're having a bangup summer and I can't believe you played the Anime Convention! I near got killed by some dude with (no joke) a 6-foot long cardboard piece of weaponry.
I am really psyched for you that you can attend Berklee!!! It's hard to get in!!! Boston itself is a pretty expensive city to live in, so you have a double whammy!!! We have to meet one day! I am noly 45 mins away from Boston :). I don't know why exactly we lost touch... I think you were in a lot of transition and so was I... I finally married the man of my dreams. Remember Gunnar? Yeah :) We finally tied the know in January and now he is permanently living here. No more long distance relationship! It's awesome. Of course, if you need any female vocals to help you, I'd be happy to do so, but I am certain that you have much more ressources at Berklee for vocalists now! But hey, no one can do "Summer Sun" like we did hehe... :)
alright Jon :) how are you? It's been like Ages!!! I see you are in boston? you know, I am only 45 mins away from there? One day, we'll have to meet. I don't know why we lost touch, but I came to your page and i am loving the music you have here... Write me ok? I would love to catch up :)
ya, long time brother. Good to hear that you are doing so good. I will give you a call when I have a chance. Rachel and I have a New Son by the way! Ya SON!!!! Will fill you in when we talk! about everything else!
True, but my father has conections so I am lucky, still I want it to be good I do not want him to just get that done for me I want people to like it for real, my father has been wanting me to wright it into somthing for along time but I keep saying no because I felt it was wrong for people to have to buy it but now I just want to be remembered and also I want my wrighting to be a ray of hope as it has been for many of my online friends
As for me I am also very busy with school, I want to wright a book of poems but I get the feeling that will not happen but it is somthing I want to do because so many people online like my wrightings that I thought it was a good idea
