Since breaking free into the solo production scene Kuffdam has become a definitive producer in his own right with the fruits of his labour being his debut artist album released right here on VANDIT called, ‘Network’ ( du kannst hier gern zum album network verlinken) . The release of that landmark LP from the Scottish bored and bread Trance specialist unlocked a variation of styles not heard before. His classic collaborations as one half of Kuffdam & Plant are notched in dance music history but right now Kuffdam is writing a new chapter.

His previous single release here on VANDIT Digital was a gorgeous vocal trance production which the vocal harmonics of LO-FI Sugar joining forces with Kuffdam’s deeply dark sound to produce the single ‘The Last Time’ That as it was will be the last track to be plucked from the album as not resting on his laurels Kuffdam is back in the studio yet again pushing his sound as far as he can take it. Be prepared for another explosive journey for this brand new production direct from the Scottish highlands!

The new single from Kuffdam dives forward into a new direction from the deeply delicious and dark mood he created with ‘Network’ and notches the BPM up as well as the temperature with ‘Break My Fall’. If you’re not careful it may well be breaking speakers as the thunderous pace that Kuffdam has captured with his techno inspired build up on his latest audio explosion will have ear drums pounding. The creative sparks that Kuffdam has driven into this new single here for VANDIT fuse together a pulsating beat and euphoria of energy when the main chords start to explode. It’s another evolution of the sound that Kuffdam will be pushing through into 2010 and we can’t wait for more!

Dear electronic dance music fan, today we provide you with another episode of „VANDIT’s Got Talent“. In the jury no one else but VANDIT’s founder himself, Paul van Dyk. On the sound stage, the Manchester based dance music professional Adam Foley!

It’s not the first audition Adam is attending. He rocked the roaster for Branded Digital, Redux Recordings, Nu Depth and some others before. His live, love and career are revolving around the beat that makes you move, he truly is a dance aficionado, and this undeniably shows in the sound performance he delivers for us.

Spotlight on „For The Record“, part 1 of his EP trilogy. The moment you hear it you instantly want to play it out. The simple designed beat is powerful. The melody comes in waves, lifting you up and drawing you back with a melancholic edge. Some distorted effects set in the break, a ghostly kind of vocal appears, both just to open the next circuit of our full fast forward experience.

The recall is guaranteed, and the second round presents „Generation“. Not as spooky as as the prelude production, this is coming with astonishing balance of keeping it light and pushing it tightly. Electro bleeps and a rich bass lines chase you from one floating break to the next. You ride this track like the cowboy a quarter horse.

We are positive, we want one more. And in the grand final Adam showcases „8am“. Exactly the kind of anthem you want to hear in your 8th hour of raving on the floor while seeing the sun set through the wide windows of Cocoricco in Rimini. Or Space Terrace Miami. Or Week-End Club Berlin. It’s this „I don’t wanna stop, not now, please give us one more“ moment, when you feel the scene is about to end. The tension is high, you can cut a slice out of the atmosphere when the break sets in. And it’s so pretty, so very hands up in the air while taking a deep breath.. and despite the blisters on your feet you feel the urge to keep on moving.
