It is not a debut, but a fresh start nonetheless. After six years and three albums, Danish duo Puddu Varano last year chose to go their separate ways. But one half, Morten Varano, is keeping the music and at least half of the name going. "Step Up" is the first album by the new one man line-up. A delicious and loungy experience in sound, and an oasis of soul, downbeat, latin, afro and elegant pop.
Its july 2002 and Puddu Varano a danish dance act featuring Lady Z on vocals have just rocked the electronica tent at Roskilde festival.The atmosphere onstage and from the 7000 strong crowd is electrifying, backstage, Morten Varano the bands producer programmer and label manager has a proposition for the singer-songwriter, to record and produce a song based electronica album.

Chin Ono er Danmarks mest tourende reggae/dancehall artist med 134 live-gigs under bæltet siden 2006 - både lokalt og international. Han tourede og arbejdede tæt sammen med Danmarks reggae dronning Natasja fra 2003 til hendes tragiske ulykke i sommeren 2007, og har som den eneste nulevende skandinaviske reggae artist gjort sig gældene på Jamaica, hvor han både har indspillet singler, optrådt live, samt givet interviews og live optræden på Jamaicansk radio og TV.
Chin Ono er pt i gang med at indspille et full length album PÅ DANSK, der kan forventes ude i forsommeren 2010! Der vil kun blive offentliggjort ET nummer på dansk, inden pladen er på gaden!
Det drejer sig om sangen "DROP DIN PISTOL", som omhandler problemerne omkring den verserende bande-rocker-krig, og simpelthen er for aktuelt til at vente med at blive hørt!
