Lo que hago forma parte de un proyecto en el que participan amigos fuera de serie:
Juan Pablo Baidal, (mi hermano) el experto a la hora de poner el ritmo preciso con su batería; Otto Cordero, que ahora está de científico en Holanda y es un verdadero virtuoso de la guitarra (de Otto nació el nombre Azul Profundo, como denominamos a la banda); el maestro de maestros Oscar Durieux -arreglos vocales-; Wladimir Torres, mi artista gráfico preferido; Héctor Alvarado, el jovencito con cara de malo pero full buena onda que me da una mano en todo; Normilín ti ri rín, que administra los conciertos en Ecuador y me da siempre su gran apoyo; y mi Rene con sus fotos (y con todo su él para mí).
Los incomparables Susy Nickel "Heart of gold" y Johnny LunaMoon impulsaron el proyecto poniendo generosamente su tiempo e ingenio en mis primeros demos. :)
Susy participó en las versiones con coros de Mundo al revés (creo que ya van a ser diez años de eso) y Hola mar. Los arreglos que tanto me gustan de Karma son de Susy y de Johnny. "Moon" se encargó de los arreglos de Sin buscarte.
Los fantásticos arreglos de Sé y Manía (en todas sus versiones disponibles) fueron realizados por Iván Toledo (Tekmo).

La música siempre ha sido como el amor para mí: el motor que me mantiene viva y vibrando. De hecho, pienso que la música más pura es la voz del amor.
Siempre me gustó escribir, de modo que cuando finalmente me decidí a aprender a tocar guitarra (a los diecinueve), supe que la mejor manera de expresar mis pensamientos y así sacar a la luz mi verdadera esencia, era componiendo música y escribiendo canciones.
Han pasado muchos años desde que empecé a componer. Desde entonces las personas más cercanas a mí no han dejado de brindarme su apoyo incondicional... éste ha sido un estímulo que ha mantenido mi entusiasmo e inspiración siempre vivos. Por eso, gran parte de lo bueno que se pueda obtener de mi propuesta musical es mérito de mis amigos más queridos.
Mi temática es básicamente humanista y romántica. Naturalmente hay mucho idealismo también, soy alguien que no deja de soñar. Hasta ahora he compuesto docenas de canciones, que en realidad son pocas en relación a todo lo que deseo compartir.
INFORMACION GENERAL
Cantautora guayaquileña del género romántico, Verónica Baidal cuenta con una vasta propuesta que proyecta esencialmente un trasfondo humanista al son de variados ritmos modernos.
Compuso su primera melodía completa a los quince años y decidió ser DJ a los diecisiete. Durante casi cuatro años puso a bailar a sus amigos y conocidos al son de música primordialmente electrónica (house y techno), hasta que empezó a concentrarse en la composición de su propia música.
Verónica aprendió a tocar la guitarra de oído y con ella compone tanto canciones como temas instrumentales. Escribe desde siempre. Es periodista, editora de textos y redactora creativa. Su gusto por la lingüística y su conocimiento de otros idiomas le han permitido escribir canciones en inglés e italiano.
En sus presentaciones toca su guitarra y suele estar acompañada de su hermano Juan Pablo en la batería y guitarra de acompañamiento.
Desde 2005 ha presentado varios conciertos temáticos en su natal Guayaquil en la Alianza Francesa, en el Centro Cultural Sarao y en el conservatorio Sergei Rachmaninov. En 2007 presentó su música en Zug y en Lucerna (Suiza).
En la actualidad, la artista está preparando un CD con una selección de sus mejores canciones.

Sometimes, our days can be so full and busy that we forget how fragile life really is. It can be easy to allow little things to creep in and steal our peace and joy. Something doesn't go our way, or someone says something upsetting. Even traffic can cause us to lose focus if we let it. We have to remember that each day is a gift. If we choose to focus on what's wrong, we'll miss the beauty that each day has to offer.
I encourage you today; don't let the precious moments of life pass you by. Don't wait for holidays and birthdays to show people that you care. Remember, each day is unique and irreplaceable. You have been given time that can be invested or wasted; hours that can be used or misused.
