Last year I created a collection of vector art called VECTORVAULT,,. The reaction to vectorvault.com has been enthusiastic yet somehow lacking. I have dreamed of evolving it into something far more relevant. My 5 premier collections (Vectorvault,, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Epsilon) have been purchased and used by thousands of talented people. It’s a great feeling to see Vectorvault,, vectors being used in imaginative ways. That’s why in March 2008 vectorvault.com is getting an overhaul. We are turning the spotlight directly on the people that have kept us going. People like you. We are so tempted to send you a link to the new site’s temporary location, but we’re going to keep it a surprise for now. We are so proud of the new look and features. Vectorvault.com is aiming for your bookmark bar this time. Our old site offered 6 free vector downloads a week. The new format will feature free vector downloads rotated every day and a resource library that will be designed to make your life easier. The new magazine format will feature exciting articles, stunning works of art, links, contests, videos and all the trimmings of a great page. To put it simply, when you think of vector art we want you to think Vectorvault,, Over a year ago, some dinosaur of a CEO told me over lunch that he did not think that I was a “strategic thinker”. He said that I didn’t necessarily have the aptitude for “big ideas”. After 14 years building brands for people like him, I decided to work on the only brand that matters: me. So I quit.
