The fabled "Band Bio"....who reads this stuff anyway?
So...we'll talk about how the band came to be. The current lineup started out in late 2006 when Jon Badalamenti, M.D. rescued 3 beautiful women from a burning building. Not wanting him to get all the credit, even though he did all the work, Tony Engel, Esq claimed HE did it and garnered much fanfare.
So Jon enlisted the help of Bob "Cabo" Hilton, who was a bouncer at the "Circle K Lounge" and called famous attorney, Ron Thomas in case he could make a quick buck in a lawsuit. The ensuing carnage became the MIGHTY VEILSIDE.
The "Mighty" part was dropped when the guys deemed that name to be too stupid, and just went with Veilside.

In mid 2009, the band was held hostage by a short guy with long hair and a cowboy hat and after negotiations got intense, Russ Odean was convinced to join the band
.....as the resident terrorist and bartender.

Okay, we made that part up.
We came together like most bands do...from OTHER bands! Although the members all tend to listen to different styles of music, Veilside's sound is modern rock in the vein of some of our influences (Nickelback, Shinedown, Black Stone Cherry) with big harmonies and a very energetic live show.

In late June of 2008, the band released their debut CD, "Chapter One" that has sold over 3,000 copies to date by word of mouth alone!!!
. 2009 saw the band head out to Los Angeles for the NAMM Convention and more out-of-state shows that will allow them to become a regional force

. Writing has recently been completed on the follow up to 2008's successful "Chapter One", titled "This Time..." for release in late FALL 2010. Look for "This Time..." to be available SOON!!
