Whether you call it fate, destiny or even a higher calling, the fact is
that some people are born to entertain, sing and create music. This applies to Ves Rain, a soulful pop artist hailing from up north Helsinki Finland.
Ves Rain (born Vesa Matara) has written and produced music for various artist's for the past ten years and now he is fulfilling his childhood dreams and ambitions recording his debut album. With “One step closer”, he shows his versatility as a songwriter and a producer. He has released 2 singles through his on own record label WLF Music Oy in Finland, achieving him national radio play on major channels, video play on MTV, appearances on network TV and the number 1 single on the offcial single chart.
Ves is the CEO of Spin Group Oy, a big urban media company that includes Spin Fm radio 107,6MHz, Spin Fashion, Spin Technologies and Spin Events. Ves also runs a music studio close to Helsinki.
Ves Rain made a sponsorship deal with Samsung summer 2007 and He has worked with Samsung on various projects, http://www.samsung.fi/vesrain. soon he'll be part of the global Royal artist club family powered by Nokia.
Ves performed on the mainstage at Porijazz 2008 on the same stage with artist's like Mary J blidge and Carlos Santana.

-Sorry I've been a way and silent for a while..I lost my dear sister to a sudden illness some weeks ago so that put everything for a hold and gave my life a new perspective.
