Well, Vibeke Saugestad is only me. And the backing band has differed over the years. Right now I have a great band backing me, consisting of Morten Henriksen (guitar), Nils Erik Strømnes (guitar), Egil Stemkens (bass) and Tomas Dahl/Palle Krüger (drums).

My name is Vibeke Saugestad. My musical journey started in an all girl group called Avslørte Bondepiker in 1992. In 1993 I joined a group called Weld, who released two albums on EMI. Then I started a new group, Thelyblast, who released one record on Sony Music, before I went on to making records as a solo artist. I have released three records so far, Into The Shimmering in 2001 and Overdrive in 2003. And THe World Famous Hat Trick in 2007. And soon a dream long overdue will come true - My very own Christmas EP!!! It will be available on my own label Sprettball Records in Norway and Pop Detective Records in the States!! (Order it from www.popdetective.com). I also play organ with bubblegumpowerpoppers The Yum Yums and sing with the partysoultwistgarageband The Twistaroos.
