About me:
As Eve - the first lady - of arts journalism, I am, without a doubt, the hottest, hippest. most happening chick to put pen to paper, finger to mouse, ear to iPod - and I even play the harp.
At the moment I am on 12 billion deadlines. Well, not really, it just fucking seems that way. The Diavolo world premiere at the Hollywood Bowl was hot and they are now on the road to Chile, Brazil, Italy and Jackson Hole. I, meanwhile, had a blast in Buenos Aires, covering Julio Bocca's farewell performance.
"The Sopranos" ballet has not attracted many takers, but in the interim, I'm on the OBAMARAMA train.
Upcoming Master Chorale concert - Bach's B Minor Mass, should be phat - first time performed at Disney Hall.
The countdown til October when I get to see my Cuban boyfriend again is on, cuz he's been unable to swim to the States...as of yet.

Who I'd like to meet:
Nobody who's trying to sell anything. A great man - someone on a par with Jonathan Rhys Meyers - is his Henry VIII the most au courant, fucking awesome dude on the planet? That's redundant, so fugeddaboudit.
Seriously, I am now in love with Barack Obama, but not to the point where I'll make a music video in a wet t-shirt for the campaign.
