intelligent breakbeat-based electronica/triphop with focus on melancholic acid jazz and dreamscape
Well, let me firstly introduce myself. My name in real life is Alexey Gorbunov, I live in Russia, born Nov 11th 1978, I’m pretending to present myself as an electronic musician and poet.

If it may be called so, my career in music started about 1999 from my beginner’s experiments with synthesizer and computer. At that time I was a student and lived in Tula city, the capital of our province. There dance club culture exists as much more noticeable occurrence than in my town, so it was the right place to flow into the movement. It seemed my first tracks were not so bad for the opinion of promoters from the most popular club among local people loving really modern and innovative electronic sound. In one year I became their resident taking part in live sets and shows with my breakbeat and house tracks plus my and one guest girl’s vocal on my own lyrics. I could say my project was enough successful on local scene and I remember that period as very interesting.

But time was passing, something was changing. In fact, gradually I became bending to more experimental, sophisticated sound which was not appreciated by typical dance community. So after three years of performances in local clubs and open-airs, with participant’s diplomas of two city music festivals of Tula, I go slightly stray from all that. There was about 1.5 years period when I’d been just creating music at home and contacted with several guys like me only. For that time I had much experience with atmospheric jungle, intelligent, meditative. Then I also touched downtempo, triphop, techstep and more. Well, I think nobody must keep in one and the same style even within one album. I listen to a very different music and also try to express myself using all means that I can find around.

So, for the present time I’m staying local independent musician promoting myself with help of friends and interested persons. For example, I’m a participant of internet based musical promo & information project held by one former music journalist from Tula, its site http://vookstock.narod.ru

Also for a period between 2002 and 2004 I took part in several concerts in Tula organized by my acquainted promoter who is fond of all this underground and experimental sound.
