    .. Crowned Beheaded was originally founded in 2007 by John Ramos and Duane Timlin after their time with Houston's Funeral Rites ended. This project has been a challenge since both Ramos and Timlin are active session players and work with multiple groups. As with all bands in the early stages, they went through a few line-ups as well as a name change. 2012 has been a productive year. Crowned Beheaded recently recruited Matt Mapes on vocals and Marvin Ruiz on guitar. Crowned is nearly finished with an ep/demo which will be converted to a nine song full length due at the end of summer. The band is in the process of booking local shows and national tours.
