Virag Keszthelyi is working as a professional singer in the hungarian underground scene since a couple of years.
Before singing in different kind of bands, she first started to learn singing at the operett singer Edit Lipcsey, then studied jazz singing at Kati Albert and latin jazz standards at the cuban singer Elsa Valle.
She was singing jazz, soul, rock, trying herself out in different kind of musical styles.
She first show up in the hungarian talent search show "Kifutó" in 1998, where she got into the final with Sam Brown's mega-hit "Stop".
The appearence brought her some new opportunities, for example to perform with her former band "Voice" at an International Blues, Jazz and Rock Festival, sharing stage with The Spencer Davis Band among others.
Since that time she appeared on about 20 different albums and compilations, sang for tv-commersials ,worked with foreign producers, toured in Switzerland with Gero and The Lushlife Project aswell.
Nowdays she is working as a session singer, writing texts and melodies.
Virag is graduated as a Fashion Designer at Knitwear Branch in 2002 and Visual Communication and Art Teacher in 2003 at the Hungarian University of Applied Arts.
She was born 11 11 1976 in Budapest. Since September 2007 she is living in Switzerland, Zürich.
