Voodoo Crush is a Tulsa based Rock/pop cover band made up of seasoned musicians. Less than 4 years ago the band formed when friends Todd Cooke(Bass/vocals) and Tim Hewitt(Lead Vocals) got back in touch after a long absence with the idea of forming a band to have some fun with. Having played together before in previous groups, Todd and Tim then "signed up" Mat Donaldson(Drums/vocals), whom was well known as one of the best rock drummers in Tulsa from years past and were also friends with Todd and Tim from "back in the day". With these 3 elements in place the band was off to a great start. After a short audition process, the trio found and added Kimbal Snyder(Piano/keys/vocals) a great piano/keyboardist. The final piece was added with Pete Turley on Guitar....however, it was soon a forgone conclusion that Pete would not work out for Voodoo Crush...so the talents of Paul Abitz(Guitar/vocals), a former bandmate of Todd's, were enlisted to make the group whole. With the lineup in place..Voodoo Crush quickly began rehearsing and soon were playing the Tulsa music scene. Voodoo Crush has risen in popularity quickly do to the talents and experience of the group. Putting on a quality (and live) , high-energy show that the Tulsa scene was sorely lacking. Playing a good mix of songs from 1980 to today, mostly in the rock vien...Voodoo Crush is a great band to go out with friends to dance, listen to and even just sit back and watch!! Entertainment is the word...and these guys deliver!! So "C'mon out and get CRUSHED!!!
