Third full length album by this Punk Rock band from Luxemburg available now! This is already their second release with Fond Of Life Records after a short break... so welcome them back. 15 Songs in the vein of Jawbreaker.
We're a four-piece punk band from Luxembourg. Since 2005 we've released three records, seen a few drummers come and go and played a hell of a lot of shows. Our song writing is highly inspired by punk bands from the 80s and 90s. We try to be honest and true to ourselves and everyone else and sometimes succeed and sometimes fail miserably. We're always broke because we put everything we got into this band. The name means absolutely nothing.
"It sounds like Chicago in Luxembourg right now. A reader pointed me in the direction of this band from the tiny Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, he said they sound a bit like the Lawrence Arms, and they play the style very well. I have to agree with him. Versus You has only been around since 2005, though the individual members have 'ex-member' histories going back seven or so years. Other Chicago punk influences that they cite include Screeching Weasel and the Broadways, plus lots of West Coast staples like Jawbreaker, early Green Day and Pinhead Gunpowder..."
